Welcome to “The Black Homeschool Mom” blog, where you’ll find a wealth of resources, knowledge, and inspiration for Black homeschoolers and beyond. My name is Nkele Lungu, a mother of two little girls, a devoted wife, and a Christian with a passion for all things Black History, Geography and Early education.
Originally from Botswana, Southern Africa, I now reside in Toronto, Canada.
As I began my homeschooling journey with my own children, I noticed a significant lack of Black-centered resources that instilled knowledge, factual history, and a sense of pride in our Black heritage. This realization drove me to fill this void by creating and curating valuable resources that celebrate the richness of African, Black and Caribbean culture.
